Whether it’s a match or we can’t find a place for you in our team just yet, we’ll always call or email you.
If it’s good news, we go on to the next step. We’ll give you a call, discuss your motivation and your expectations for this job and invite you for an interview.
Depending on the role you applied for, you visit us as our HQ in Burcht or at the Navitec site in the Port of Antwerp. There, you’ll meet our HR colleagues to
- give you more information about the company and the exciting projects we have in store for you.
- perform a first welding test if you’re a welder.
- wow us by telling us why you’re interested in us, where you see yourself in the future - you know the drill ;-)
- get a sense of whether and where you’ll fit in our team.
Did you apply to HYE?
As a site manager, for instance, and did you do well? Then we gladly take you on a site visit after your interview. This gives you the opportunity to meet your future colleagues, ask questions and get a feel for the project.
Was our first interview a success? Do we think you’re quite the character? Then we move quickly. In a second interview, we discuss conditions and sign your contract. Welcome to the team!

We don’t like to wait - who does? So, we try to keep this process as short as possible.
That’s why new colleagues sign their contract, on average, two weeks after their application.
